Anyone who is predisposed to athletic endeavors needs a good time measuring device that can stand up to all rugged exertions. Unfortunately, none of the electronic personal navigational systems, interval timers and step counting gadgets are particularly stylish. Invicta, with its reputation for cool, assertive and precise timepieces, has come up with a chronograph sturdy enough to endure sporting punishment while at the same time being fashionable enough to transition into daily wear: The Invicta Women’s Akula Reserve White Leather Chronograph.

Watch specifications:

  • Brushed Stainless Steel 40mm Case, with a Thickness of 13mm
  • Genuine Leather Watch Strap
  • 27mm Watch Band Width
  • Flame Fusion Case Dial Window Analog Display
  • Stationary Bezel Function
  • 3 Sub-dial Chronograph with 60-Second, 30-Minute and 1/10 of a Second Functions
  • Water Resistant up to 330ft
  • Date Window at 4 o’clock Marker
  • White Dial with Silver Toned Hour, Minute and Second Hands

Unlike its black rubber counterpart, the white leather model is a subtly graceful timepiece. The soft leather strap and the matte steel case make it quite a lovely watch for daily wear, yet it is sturdily designed and is outfitted with precision timing instruments. This is clearly a high performance watch.

This trendy yet elegant timepiece has a broad 40mm brushed stainless steel case and a white luminescent watch dial. The hour markers do not have numeric notations, and the hands are silver toned, so legibility isn’t ideal. The sub-dials denote 60-second, 30-minute and 1/10 of a second functions, so you can time your athletic achievements with the utmost accuracy. There is a date window at the 4 o’clock mark.

While the brushed steel/white leather aesthetic is elegant and simple, there might be those that consider it a bit dull. It doesn’t have the hugely flashy quality that we’ve come to associate with the Invicta brand. It is clean and uncomplicated in a horological world clogged with overly designed asymmetrical watch faces and dials that are barely readable.  However, it is a bit large to be flattering to small or delicate wrists.

The Swiss Quartz movement gives this watch thoroughly exact timekeeping capabilities, and it is water resistant up to 330 ft. The watch strap is hand stitched genuine leather and very supple. This is a sports watch perfectly suited for both strenuous and leisure activities.
