For those looking to own a unique piece that still has all of the functionality of the other high end timepieces, Invicta’s Men’s Invicta II Chronograph Stainless Steel & Black Wood Chronograph 0858 is a good choice.

The brushed and polished stainless steel case and bracelet, with its center links and face made out of black wood make this watch different from the others in the collection. This unique addition gives this watch a slightly different look than all the other watches out there, making this piece stand out and draw everyone’s attention. The nice thing about the ebony is that it doesn’t stand out from the watch, but adds to the overall design. The watch is equipped with precise Japanese-quartz movement, the standard for all of  the watches in the Invicta II collection. In addition, the durable flame-fusion crystal gives the watch that coveted expensive look and feel. The black dial with the white toned lettering really makes the numbers on the watch stand out, making it easier to tell time with only a quick glance.  The watch is also equipped with luminous hands, once again adding to its visibility. The white hour markers complete the look of the watch making it a great accessory to add to any outfit.  It also has an 18k gold-plated and black stainless steel unidirectional bezel, as well as 18k gold-plated stainless steel crown and pushers. In addition to its style, the watch is equipped with multiple practical features making it not only a good looking watch, but also makes it a versatile accessory. The Chronograph functions with 60 second, 60 minute and 12 hour sub dials. The watch also displays the date in a little white box that pops out on the black face. The date is a little small and can be a little more difficult to see than the rest of the numbers on the watch.  Durability can be seen as a concern because the watch is not shock absorbent, but it is water-resistant up until roughly 330 feet which is roughly100 meters. Although not as water resistant as some of the other Invicta watches, the watch works perfectly fine with everyday encounters with water like dealing with rain or washing your hands.

Pros:

  • Expensive Look and Feel
  • Luminous
  • Water Resistant
  • Unique Black Wood Face
  • Multiple Settings
  • Easy to Read

Cons:

  • Date Function Too Small
  • Not Shock Absorbent

This fully functional watch with its unique look and design is a good choice for those who want something a little different in their watch.
