The Invicta II (0855) gives you a chic, expensive look for a very reasonable price. With it’s durable build and relatively neutral color scheme, this watch could follow you just about anywhere.

Features:

  • Tachymeter Scale
  • Flame-fusion Crystal
  • Day and Date Sub-dials
  • Japanese-quartz Movement
  • Water-resistant (100m/330ft)

The Invicta II (0855) is designed with precise Japanese-quartz movement, durable flame-fusion crystal, and a screw-down case. It is water-resistant down to 100 meters (330 feet). The dial is impact and scratch resistant. The stainless steel case measures approximately 44 millimeters in diameter (48mm wide and 44mm high) and 13 millimeters thick. Its black leather band extends 8.7 inches and sits at 22 millimeters wide. The band is secured by a stainless steel buckle clasp. A stainless steel bezel and push/pull, coin edge, crown finish the solid design.

The Invicta II has a silver dial with black, luminous hour and minute hands to indicate the time. Luminous, black markers indicate every hour while a large, Arabic twelve sits at the top. Small, black, Arabic numerals and hatch marks line the outer rim of the dial and count off the minutes.

Framing the dial, the stainless steel bezel is marked, in black, Arabic numerals, with a tachymeter scale. In the center of the dial, two sub-dials indicate the day and date. These are also marked with black, Arabic numerals and are indicated by small, black hands.

Pros:

  • Stylish
  • Durable
  • Comfortable
  • Highly Readable

Cons:

  • Fewer Functions

The black on silver color scheme makes the Invicta II (0855) very easy on the eyes. The luminous hands and markers keep it legible even in low-light conditions. White stitching frames the black, leather strap handsomely, and the black on silver dial has a clean and sophisticated look. This combines with the size of the dial to make the watch highly readable.

The Invicta II fits comfortably on most men and is a nice, moderate size. The strap is the standard length for men’s watches, so it fits most wrists. The leather flexes with your wrist well, and the case isn’t so large that it bumps into the back of your hand. The watch suits men with fairly large wrists well, but it doesn’t look bulky on smaller wrists either. If you purposely like larger watch faces, you may want to get something a bit more sizable. In general though, the Invicta II is a very comfortable size.

The combination of stainless steel, water-proofing, and flame-fusion crystal make the Invicta II a highly durable and accurate watch. There is some debate between Swiss- and Japanese-quartz movement. Many people report greater accuracy with Japanese movements and some claim that their Swiss counterparts rely more on name than actual quality. Overall, both perform well though.

If you’re an avid traveler, the tachymeter scale is a nice addition. The Invicta II also has sub-dials displaying the day of the week and date. Apart from these though, the watch offers no other functions. Unless you’re specifically looking for those though, you probably won’t notice they’re missing.

The Invicta II could follow you just about anywhere. Not only does it have a classic and relatively neutral size, but it’s durable design keeps it from being damaged even under heavy use. Whether you’re at work or hitting the gym, this timepiece is good to go day or night.

The Invicta II has a fairly expensive look, but it comes at a very reasonable price. This watch is a steal for under $200 and can often be found for under $100. Check for deals on sites such as: Amazon.com, WorldOfWatches.com, and WatchesOnNet.com where prices range from $71.99-192.56 with little to no cost for shipping. This is especially reasonable when you consider the normal listing price for the timepiece is $395.00.

Summary:
The Invicta II (0855) is a well balanced watch. It gives you a chic, expensive look for as little as $71.99. This timepiece can be dressed up or down for work or play. It fits comfortably and is well sized for most men. Additionally, it’s durable design keep the watch from being damaged even with heavy use.
