It’s difficult to find a watch with Swiss automatic movement for an affordable price. If it’s Swiss automatic movement you are seeking, the Invicta Men’s Force Automatic Chronograph Black Rubber 959 timepiece has it along with many more neat features. Although it’s selling for a reasonable price, there are also some drawbacks you should be aware of before buying it.

Fabulous Features: Well-protected by flame-fusion crystal and a titanium case, this handsome timepiece comes with a luminous chronograph function with 60 second, 30 minute, and 12 hour sub-dials. An easy to read calendar with the day and date is at the three o’clock position. The color contrast between the black dial background and white hands is pleasing to the eye and makes it easy to view the time. Water resistant up to 100 meters, there’s no need to worry about getting the Invicta 959 timepiece wet. The comfortable black rubber strap with textured titanium accents looks great and matches the style of the dial.

Drawbacks: There are many features of the Invicta 959 model which hinder your ability to quickly read the time at a glance. First of all, some hours are marked with indexes and others with open dots. Numeral markings would make telling time much easier. In addition, the minutes are only marked in five minute intervals. If you want to take advantage of the precise 25 Jewels Swiss automatic movement, it would be nice to see one minute interval markings on the dial. Solid dots and hands would also improve your readability. However, the hands and markings are large, which is definitely a plus. You should also consider that this watch is extremely large.  If you have a small wrist or a big watch is not for you, then you should think about other timepiece options.

Alternative Styles: If you like the style of the Invicta 959 model, but don’t need automatic movement, the Men’s Coalition Forces Chronograph Black Rubber 956 timepiece is the same style, but less expensive. Another alternative for those who like automatic movement is the Invicta Men’s Reserve Collection Automatic Chronograph Stainless Steel 741 watch which has Japanese automatic movement, large solid hands and markers, as well as one-minute interval markings.

Pricing: The pricing of the Invicta 959 watch varies. The U.S. retail value is $1,995, but you can find it online for as low as $565.92 at Amazon.com. Shop online and see what deals you can find. If you are set on Swiss automatic movement, the price is reasonable.
