When watch enthusuists demand the best in craftsmanship, they want a watch made in Switzerland. However, Swiss made watches are extremely expensive, and are mostly found on the wrists of people with a hefty amount of disposable income. If you want the best, but you don’t want to break the bank, there is a solution. Invicta’s 1464 Reserve Collection watch is a Swiss Made watch with a reasonable price tag.

This reserve collection watch features:

  • Swiss Quartz Movement
  • 60 second, 30 minute and 1/10th second subdials
  • Water resistance up to 200 meters
  • Rotating, black rubber bezel
  • Reserve collection- Limited quantity

The first thing that you will notice about this watch is it’s heft. This is a pretty heavy watch, which makes this sports watch feel durable and well made. This weight may not please everybody, but if there is any assurance that the watch won’t break, it’s how heavy the entire set up is.

The watch face is completely black, accented by white hour markers that glow in the dark. The three subdials are clear and readable, which is good when you need to track time up to a tenth of the second. There’s a dial that keeps track of the date as well, however, this dial is between the four and five hour marker. While this dial is placed in a unique position, can still be covered when the large hand of the watch are locating the hours between 4 and 5. It can be troublesome to read at certain times of the day. The watch’s movement is fantastic. This watch not only contains Swiss parts, it was also made in Switzerland under exacting standards.

The watch’s case is large and heavy, which attests to it’s craftsmanship.

The retail price for this watch is $1295, but it is currently being sold by third party vendors on Amazon for around $250.00, making this a great deal for a quality piece of craftsmanship.

As with all Invicta watches, this watch comes with a 1 year warranty, with an option to upgrade to a 5 year warranty for $25.00 more. This warranty covers defects in craftsmanship, failure and breakdown of the movement. While your watch’s movement may not break down, it’s good to have a backup plan when things go wrong.

Overall, this watch is a well crafted sports watch for an amazing price. You really can’t go wrong with Swiss watches, and at the prices offered online, you won’t find a cheaper watch made in Switzerland.
